He looks so... frantic. Raven tries not to laugh, but alas. A little chuckle escapes in spite of his best efforts. "Just give me a moment to put these bags away. And no peeking."

He holds the bags close to his chest. "Tomorrow isn't too far off, anyway."

"What's tomorrow-- oh! Christmas, right." Ren heaves out a few more breaths, headband with antlers and little bells jingling. "Don't I look good?"

[fogboundcrow]

"It's a cute look." He won't deny it, and the jingling bells get another little laugh from him. "Though I have to wonder... isn't it a bit early? The loser's the one who has to wear them, after all."

[mountainfoggedlotus]

"Well, I'm no loser, and neither is Rudolph!"

"Your confidence is admirable, but I suppose we'll have to put it to the test."

He slips upstairs quickly, just to tuck the gift bags away. Then, he's back down the stairs, raring to go. "So, off we go to Tokyo. This is certain to be a learning experience for both of us."

"Learning experience? You'll learn how to handle defeat gracefully, maybe."

"Are you sure it won't be you who has to learn that lesson?" Despite his smack talk, Raven struts up to the door, holding it for his partner.

"And how do you know it won't be you?"

[fogboundcrow]

"Clearly, neither one of us wishes to concede, so we'll just have to put ourselves to the test." Once Ren steps outside, he'll offer a hand to hold, though.

Ren looks at the hand, but after a moment and a slight flush he takes it. "Yeah! We can test each other."

"I can always count on you to keep me on my toes." But first things first, the Velvet Room! Luckily, it doesn't take long for them to reach that familiar blue door, and from there, they just have to make their way to Tokyo.

Soon... Soon the real date begins.

Into the Velvet Room...an awkward bow to Nose-sama-- er, Igor-- and into the next door!

Luckily, Raven already scouted the location, and one trip through the door brings them to the Tokyo Midtown Ice Skating Rink, a nice outdoor venue with plenty of space.

Best of all, it's theirs for the taking.

Curious, he glances at Ren to gauge his reaction.

He looks around. "Pretty cool..." it's not even a joke. Not intentionally, anyway. "Where do we get our skates...hmm..."

[fogboundcrow]

"I believe they're over..." He turns around, and... aha! There's a counter with a cognition right there. "This way."

He waves for Ren to follow. This really shouldn't take long.

"Gotcha!"

Hmm. He looks around. There are some skating outfits on the wall...mmm.

Raven chuckles, eyeing the outfits as well. "Would you like to try them?"

[mountainfoggedlotus]

"I dare you to try one!"

They're all spandex and rather form-fitting. Mmm.

[fogboundcrow]

"If I'm going to try it, you should too." But, fine. He goes to grab one in his size, and in a very stylish red. Like Feather Hawk.

"Lemme see how you look-- ack!"

All of a sudden, Wormwood is there, leaning over Ren's shoulder. "May I suggest that we may see Shiro in a costume, too?"

"...Good point."

"I do know you best," he trills.

Ren smacks him, lightly, with a fond, exasperated sigh. "You do."

Oh! Raven's eyes widen at the sight of Wormwood. "Well, I suppose it's only fair. He deserves to have fun, too."

And so, after a moment, Shiro materializes with a sheepish smile but, more importantly, in one of those costumes. "Will this suffice?"

"Of course it will, my darling..." Wormwood purrs, easily slipping to stand by Shiro.

Ren opens his mouth to say something.

"You want to try one, too. Don't deny it," Wormwood scolds him, lightly.

"Ok..." big sigh. Ren chooses a costume and goes to get changed.

A huge blush overtakes Shiro's face, and he scratches his cheek. "A-ah... That's good to know..."

Chuckling, Raven takes his own costume and follows Ren to the changing room. "I don't think Shiro is used to so much attention."

"We'll just have to get him used to it," Wormwood calls as they move to put on their costumes, hands on Shiro's sides.

As soon as they're behind the changing room doors, Ren blushes. "Wormwood really likes Shiro..."

Shiro's blush only deepens, and he looks down at Wormwood's hands. "W-Well... It isn't a bad thing, really."

It's okay, though. Raven's also blushing as he slowly removes his beanie and scarf. "Well, we really like each other, so that's not too surprising..."
